Her soon-to-release big ticket film: 'Charulata 2011'

Make no mistake, it isn't exactly a remake of the Satyajit Ray film.

Rather it is a modern take on the original short story 'Nashto-Niir' by Rabindranath Tagore, which Ray had adapted for the celluloid. This film by Agnidev Chatterjee also has a bored housewife as the protagonist who chats on Facebook, using the name Charulata 2011, with a virtual lover based in London.

The film also stars Dibyendu Mukherjee, Arjun Chakraborty, Chhanda Chatterjee, Dolon Roy, Kaushik Sen, Sudarshan and Rii. The music is by Indraadip Dasgupta. Shirsha Roy is the cinematographer.
